Hyderabad: The day temperatures continued to rise in Telangana during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Tuesday, with Mahbubnagar emerging at the hottest with 39.4 degrees Celsius.

Hyderabad: The day temperatures continued to rise in Telangana during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Tuesday, with Mahbubnagar emerging at the hottest with 39.4 degrees Celsius.

The district had recorded 38 and 37 degrees Celsius on Monday and Sunday respectively. The other recordings of maximum temperatures elsewhere in the State were: Hyderabad, Khammam 38.5 each, Nalgonda, Ramagundam 38.4 each, Medak, Nizamabad 37.3 each, Adilabad, Bhadrachalam 37 each, Hakimpet 36, Hanamkonda 35, the Met department bulletin said.

The night temperatures rose appreciably by 2.1 to 4 degrees Celsius at many places in the State during the last 24 hours. They were appreciably below normal at one or two places. The lowest minimum temperature of 15 degrees Celsius was recorded in Adilabad.

The minimum temperatures at other places in the State were: Medak 16 deg C, Nalgonda, Ramagundam 17 each, Hyderabad, Khammam 18 each, Mahbubnagar, Nizamabad, Bhadrachalam, Hakimpet 19 each, Hanamkonda 20.
