Traffic diversion for Pinkthon in Hyderabad
City Police Commissioner M. Mahendar Reddy, today notified traffic diversions in the city on Sunday from 6 am to 8 am in connection to “Pinkthon” --- 3K, 5K & 10K runs to be held around Hussain Sagar in order to relieve traffic congestion, to maintain smooth flow and to ensure public safety.
Hyderabad: City Police Commissioner M. Mahendar Reddy, today notified traffic diversions in the city on Sunday from 6 am to 8 am in connection to “Pinkthon” --- 3K, 5K & 10K runs to be held around Hussain Sagar in order to relieve traffic congestion, to maintain smooth flow and to ensure public safety.
Vehicular traffic from V V statue and proceeding towards flyover and Necklace Rotary will be diverted at V.V statue towards Shadan and Nirankari Bhavan. Similarly, the traffic coming from Telugu Talli will be diverted at Helipad Lane towards Mint-Khairatabad (Bada Ganesh).
Traffic from Iqbal Minar intending to go towards Upper Tank Bund will be diverted on Telugu Tally flyover at Old gate Secretariat. Traffic from Liberty crossroads and intending to go towards Upper tank bund will be diverted at GHMC office towards BRKR Bhavan, Telugu Tally, Iqbal Minar “U” Turn and on to Telugu Tally flyover. Vehicles from Karbala to Ambedkar Statue via Tankbund will be diverted at Children’s Park towards DBR Mills – Lower Tankbund.
Traffic coming from Nallagutta proceeding towards Sanjeevaiah Park will be diverted at NallAgutta Junction towards Ranigun crossroads. At DBR Mills, traffic will not be allowed towards Children Park.
The CP appealed to the motorists to avoid Tank Bund road, Necklace Road, NTR Marg road and take alternate routes to reach their destinations and cooperate with the Traffic Police.
