Body of slain engineer arrives at RGIA
The body of Srinivas Kuchibhotla, who was shot dead in the US in a suspected hate crime, arrived at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad at on Monday night. The Ministry of External Affairs made arrangements to bring the mortal remains of Srinivas after Adam W Purinton, a former Navy serviceman, killed him and injured Alok Madasani at a bar in Kansas State on February 22 night.Â

The body of the engineer reached Hyderabad airport by Air India flight. His wife Sunayana Dumala, her brother, sister- in-law and another relative accompanied the body. Malkajgiri MP Ch Malla Reddy, Qutbullapur MLA K P Vivekanand, Revenue Divisional Officers Srinivas Reddy, Srinivas and other officials received the body at the airport along with the relatives of the slain engineer.
The last rites will be performed on Tuesday at Jubliee Hills, the family members said. Grieving relatives thronged the house of Srinivas in Bachupally on the city outskirts.
