Singareni Thermal Project records 100% PLF
The second unit of Singareni Thermal Power Project of Jaipur, Mancheriyal district has produced its full capacity power and achieved a 100 per cent Plant Load Factor (PLF) in the month of February and set a new record in the history of newly commenced power projects.
Hyderabad: The second unit of Singareni Thermal Power Project of Jaipur, Mancheriyal district has produced its full capacity power and achieved a 100 per cent Plant Load Factor (PLF) in the month of February and set a new record in the history of newly commenced power projects.
Chairman and Mananging Director N Sridhar congratulated officers and staff of STPP (Singareni Thermal Power Project) for achieving 100 per cent PLF. He also thanked the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for his guidance and support in the timely completion of Power Project and Commercial Operation Declarations (CODs) of units of the same.
COD was done in unit-1 and unit-2 during September and December 2016 respectively and since then both plants are running successfully. COD, unit-1 and unit-2 have produced a total of 3,443 Million units of power so far. Out of which 3,191 Million units are exported to power grid at Gazwel.
For the month of February unit-1 has produced 348 Million units and unit-2 produced 389 Million units out of which a total of 668 Million units were supplied to Power grid.
