It will be accepting admissions from June this year, at its temporary campus at APPA Junction, Rajendranagar.

Addressing media, Havish Lakshman Koneru, vice-president of KLU said that the university will be coming up with an integrated 90-acre campus at Bachupally and which will be ready for the next academic year.

The world-class campus, with an estimated investment of Rs 1,500 crore will have over 60 specialisation courses in Engineering, Medical, Management and Law education.

Havish informed that they were entering Hyderabad market to provide quality and industry-focused education. “Students will be provided knowledge-based education, which will help them to be industry-ready when they step out of the university,” he said.

Highlighting its growth, he informed that the KL Engineering college at Vijayawada is the second largest private engineering college in India which offers eight engineering programmes and they were the first education society to approach the government authorities seeking to set up an institute for engineering education way back in 1990s.

While KLU, a pioneering institute supporting Academics and Research in Engineering, Science and Technology, Architecture and Management is endowed with high end infrastructure and highly experienced faculty along with its renowned Center for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE), added Havish.
