Gajwel: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Friday said that with the people’s participation Gajwel Assembly Constituency would be developed as the model segment in the country.

The Chief Minister visited Gajwel town on Friday and reviewed the development works there. The Chief Minister visited the site where integrated model market would be constructed in Gajwel.

Looking at the model market map, he gave some suggestions to district officials regarding the design and other aspects. Travelling in the special bus, he also inspected the construction work of MLA camp office, auditorium and education hub in Gajwel.

District Collector P Venkatrama Reddy and Joint Collector/ GUDA Special Officer M Hanumantha Rao and others accompanied him during his visit.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that under Mission Bhagiratha all the villages in Gajwel constituency are getting the drinking water supply and very soon water for irrigation will be provided in the segment under Kaleswaram Project.

He said progress is being made in education and health sectors. He suggested that works on Gajwel hospital, Integrated Offices Complex should be expedited. He said that the Bus stand should be developed and behind the Bus Stand Veg and Non-Veg markets should be constructed.

All the villages in the constituency should have dumping yards and cremation grounds. On the other works to be taken up in the constituency, the Chief Minister said that there would be an extended meeting to be held in Janahita in Pragathi Bhavan on March 6.

Ministers T Harish Rao, Dr Laxmareddy, MP Prabhakar Rao, District Collector Venkatram Reddy, Joint Collector Hanumanth Rao, Former MLA T Narsareddy, DCCB Chairman Devender Reddy, DCCB former Chairman Election Reddy, and Municipal Chairman G Bhaskar and were also present.
