Hyderabad: Noted producer ‘Dil’ Raju’s wife Anitha, who acted as the presenter for all the movies that Raju produced under Sri Venkateswara Creations, passed away here following a cardiac arrest. She was 46.
“She was admitted to Apollo on Saturday following chest pain. She passed away while undergoing treatment. It was a shocker to the whole family. Raju had just landed in the US to oversee the production of his film, ‘Fidaa’, with Varun Tej when he was told about the death.
He is on his way back to Hyderabad,” said a family member. He added, “Anita has been a pillar of support to Raju, ever since he decided to switch loyalties from distribution to production early last decade.” Anitha is survived by Raju and daughter Hanshitha.
