Etela Rajender presents Telangana budget in Assembly
Finance Minister Etela Rajendar on Monday presented the budget in Telangana Assembly. Elaborating on the budget, the minister said that it is not election-oriented and the Central government schemes have been incorporated in the budget.

Other key points in the budget includes:
Annual budget of Rs 1.46 lakh crore approved.
No Income Tax reduction.
Allocation of Rs 25000 crore funds for irrigation, rural areas.
Loan Waiver.
Family trades such as weavers, fishermen along with service oriented trades - barbers also found pivotal place in the budget, as the Minister pointed out that they are the creators and managers of economy.
Revenue expenditure marked at Rs 50954.61 crore.
Rs 46946.98 crore allocated for Agriculture and allied sectors.
Allocations for double bedroom houses, Mission Kakatiya, Mission Bhagiratha, free education discussed.
Funds for SC, ST welfare based on population ratio.
Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao in the cabinet meeting said that this year's budget will be pro-poor and pro-backward castes.
