Hyderabad: Finance Minister Eatala Rajendra said the changes in the budget presentation adopted by Telangana would strengthen the State government imitative of ‘Know Your District and Plan Your District’.

Presenting his fourth budget in the State Assembly here on Monday, the Minister said following the Union government’s decision to do away with the earlier classification of expenditure into plan and non-plan, Telangana had decided to stick only to the constitutional mandate of classifying expenditure into revenue and capital.

However, these changes would no way mean that the State government had given up planning, Rajender added.
