To study the socio-economic conditions of minorities coming under BC-E reservation quota and to give suggestions to the State government for improving their conditions, BS Ramulu, Chairman, BC Welfare Commission visited Sangareddy district on Tuesday.

Speaking to the media persons at the Inspection Bungalow here, he said there were not enough teachers to teach Urdu in schools and observed that welfare schemes meant for BC-E were not reaching the people belonging to the community.

He also felt that people from the community did not get a fair share in allotment of 2BHK housing to them. Hoping to implement 12 per cent reservation to Muslim minorities the way it was being implemented in Tamil Nadu, he added that the State government was advised to develop IT industry and to setup industries in every district.
