MP suggests two-minute halt for trains

TRS MP from Zaheerabad Bheemrao B Patil urged the Railway authorities here on Tuesday to provide a halt of two minutes for the trains reaching Secunderabad from Nanded, Ajmer and Amaravati at an intermediary station in the outskirts of Hyderabad/Secunderabad, so that those needing to go to Bolaram, Alwal, Kompally and Bowenpally do not have to travel till Secunderabad. Â

Many of the passengers from Nizamabad and Kamareddy travel to such industrial areas, but due to the travel schedule they take a detour to these areas after getting down at Hyderabad/Secunderabad. These passengers would be saving a lot of time by getting down at any of these stations, he added.
