Hyderabad: Telangana Telugu Desam leaders led by party president L Ramana on Thursday called on Governor E S L Narasimhan and urged him to direct the Assembly Speaker S Madhusudhana Chary to cancel the suspension of their MLAs from the House.

Revanth Reddy said that the TDP MLAs neither behaved against the Assembly nor they were against the Governor. TDP members said the action of the government was vindictive. The MLAs were suspended without seeking the views of the opposition members in the House.

The leaders pointed out that while the governor was speaking, some of the Congress and other party MLAs staged walkout. The leaders sought intervention of the governor and urge the speaker to cancel the suspension.
