Hyderabad: Kerala Chief Minister and CPM politburo member Pinarayi Vijayan will address two public meetings in Hyderabad on Sunday. Malayali community of Telangana have made elaborate arrangements to give a warm reception to the Kerala Chief Minister.

Vijayan will address the Malayalees of Telangana at TSRTC Kalabhavan near RTC Crossroads at 3 pm Sunday. Famous Malayalam poet Murukan Kattakada will render his poems on the occasion.

Vijayan will be the chief guest at the concluding public meeting of the Padayatra undertaken by the State CPM Secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram and other leaders since October last year.

The public rally which was to take place in Nizam College Grounds has now been shifted to Saroornagar to avoid traffic jam and inconvenience in the citizens. CPM general secretary Seetaram Yechuri, politburo member Prakash Karat, State secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram and others will speak at the public meeting at 5 pm on Sunday.

The Telangana government has made all security arrangements for Vijayan’s visit. The Keralites of the twin cities will also present memorandum to Vijayan enlisting their demands, said P Radhakrishnan, general convenor of the Reception Committee.
