TPCC working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka ridiculed the claims of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao that his government had introduced the scheme to distribute sheep and buffaloes for the first time and that no previous governments had thought about it.

In an informal chat with media at Congress Legislature Party office on Saturday, Bhatti said the scheme to distribute sheep and buffalos was introduced by the Congress government four decades back.Bhatti said that the KCR government had failed to implement its promises.
It had promised to distribute three acre of land to dalits, construct double bedroom houses and supply irrigation water to one lakh acres but there has been no progress. On the other hand, it was pushing the state into debt trap, he said.
