Telangana woman police official accomplishes peak feat
Police officer, G R Radhika, completed Aussie 10 Peak Challenge, climbing top 10 peaks of Australia. She achieved the feat at 3.30pm Australian local time Saturday.
​Hyderabad: Police officer, G R Radhika, completed Aussie 10 Peak Challenge, climbing top 10 peaks of Australia. She achieved the feat at 3.30pm Australian local time Saturday.
Her team climbed six peaks on Friday and finished the next four peaks including Mount Kosciuszko, the highest peak of Australian continent on Saturday.
She is the first Indian police officer to take part in this challenge and climb top 10 peaks of Australia. She is the first Indian woman police officer to climb Mount Everest.
She achieved the feat on May 20, 2016. In August 2016, she climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Tanzania.
She also climbed Mount Kun in 2015, the first Indian woman to climb the peak.She is currently posted as Principal of the Police Training College at Amberpet.
