New Delhi: TRS Parliamentary Party Leader, A P Jithender Reddy, here on Thursday urged the Union Minister for Development Tomar to release funds sought by the Telangana Government to overcome the drinking water crisis in the State at the earliest.

Speaking in the House here today, he said the Mission Bhagiratha programme undertaken by the State government at a whopping cost of Rs 46,000 crore was progressing at a fast pace and would be completed in the next one-and-half year. Meanwhile, the State government would be in need of more funds for tackling drinking water crisis of the summer, he added.
