Hyderabad: Adilabad and Medak recorded the day’s highest maximum temperature of 41 degrees Celsius each, even as the Met department renewed its warning of such temperature continuing to be above normal by two to three degrees Celsius.

The department bulletin said on Wednesday that the day temperature is likely to be above 40 degrees Celsius at isolated places in all Telangana districts for the next three days. The day was one degree cooler both in Adilabad and Medak than the 42 and 41 degrees Celsius recorded respectively on Tuesday.

According to the bulletin, the other day temperature prevailing in the State is: Nizamabad 40, Ramagundam, Hyderabad, Mahbubnagar, Ramagundam 39 each, Bhadrachalam, Hanamkonda, Nalgonda 38 each, Hakimpet, Khammam 37 each.

As dry weather prevailed in Telangana, there was no large change in the maximum temperature during the last 24 hours. They were above normal by 1.6 to 3 degrees C at a few places. Also there was no large change in the night temperature. They were below normal by 1.6 to -3 degrees C at one or two places. Medak recorded the lowest minimum of 21 degrees Celsius.

The other night temperature in the State is: Khammam 22, Adilabad, Bhadrachalam, Hakimpet, Hanamkonda, Hyderabad , Nalgonda, Ramagundam 23 each, Mahbubnagar, Nizamabad 24 each. The forecast said dry weather is likely to prevail in Telangana from March 30 to April 2. No large change during the subsequent three days is the weather outlook.
