Happy to hone the skills of youth, says Kamareddy SP
Superintendent of Police of the newly carved out district, Kamareddy, N Swetha, on Thursday said that she was happy to see as many as 40 youngsters complete their training in computer hardware, networking and communication skills.
Hyderabad: Superintendent of Police of the newly carved out district, Kamareddy, N Swetha, on Thursday said that she was happy to see as many as 40 youngsters complete their training in computer hardware, networking and communication skills.
Swetha addressed the valedictory session of the training, which was conducted as part of the skill development programme for the youth hailing from the extremist affected areas of the district.
Aldus Computers of Kamareddy gave training in computer hardware and networking and Siksha Sri Consultants of Hyderabad trained the youth in spoken English and communication skills.
The initiative was taken up as part of community policing to ensure that school dropouts in the age group of 18 and 25 years do not get attracted towards the anti-social activities, Swetha said adding that the department was ready to conduct more such programmes and help employable youth in getting better jobs.
Known for her hard work, the SP had received accolades for her strenuous efforts in computerisation of police records of the entiredistrict in a short period of time.
