The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) included the Telangana State Co-operative Apex Bank Ltd. (TSCAB) in the Second Schedule of RBI Act 1934 (2 of 1934). This confers the bank with privilege of getting a Scheduled Status with effect from March 29 and makes it mandatory for TSCAB to maintain a Principal Account with the RBI.

Hyderabad: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) included the Telangana State Co-operative Apex Bank Ltd. (TSCAB) in the Second Schedule of RBI Act 1934 (2 of 1934). This confers the bank with privilege of getting a Scheduled Status with effect from March 29 and makes it mandatory for TSCAB to maintain a Principal Account with the RBI.

Further, in a bid to expand the services of TSCAB in the twin cities, it launched three new branches on March 30. The three new branches are situated in prime localities of Yousufguda, Suchitra and Neredmet and are totally computerised with ATM facility.

Konduru Ravinder Rao, President, TSCAB, M Damador Reddy, Vice President, TSCAB, Dr Nethi Muralidhar, Managing Director, Subash Chander Reddy, subject expert, C Mohan Reddy, Chief General Manager, K Anant Rao, T Jyothi and Manzour Ghousia, General Managers of the bank participated in the inauguration programme.
