Hyderabad: The TRS MP Kavitha on Friday urged the Centre to allot two more centres to Telangana for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-2017 (NEET-2017) examinations.

She wrote a letter to Union Human Resources Development Minister Prakash Javadekar and urged him to set up two more exam centres in addition to existing two centers.

She said in the letter that rationality in allocation of centers to all the states is lacking and it causes inconvenience to students. Kavitha cited that in Gujarat three more centres were set up in addition to two centers and in a small State of Kerala two more centers were set up in addition to three existing centers.

Similarly the Centre has given two more centres for Guntur and Tirupati in addition to Vizag and Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh, she said. Keeping the demand in view, the Centre should allot two more NEET centres one each in Adilabad and Khammam enabling the students to take the test and avoid inconvenience to many, she said.
