Hyderabad: TPCC Vice-President Mallu Ravi had stated that it was not appropriate for the Chief Minister to limit the official festival celebrations to the CM Camp office. He alleged that it reflected the dynastic mentality of the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

Speaking to media at Gandhi Bhavan, here on Friday, Ravi alleged that the Chief Minister was diverting the funds of NREGS works. He said that the government was not paying the money to the NREGS workers for the last four months and it was diverting the same funds to the Mission Kakatiya works.

He said that the government had not paid Rs 315 crore to the NREGS workers from Mahbubnagar district, and warned that the Congress would lay siege to the Secretariat in case the government failed to respond.

The government also failed to pay the bills though the toilets were constructed one year ago under Swachh Bharat scheme. The government was least bothered about the chilli farmers though they set ablaze to their crop in the Enumamula Market Yard in Warangal for not getting a Minimum Support Price, he said and demanded that the government extend assistance to the chilli farmers.
