Speaking to reporters here on Saturday, Yechury said that no other political party had ever embarked upon a mission of Padayatra covering thousands of miles for five months to ascertain people’s problems.

Taking cue from the issues came to light and the advantages from the Padayatra the party will come up with a mechanism to chalk out an action plan to work on the issues, he added.

Tammineni Veerabhadram criticised Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao dragging time postponing the implementation of BC sub-plan. Demanding to roll out the sub-plan from the current financial year, he questioned the reason to differ its implementation for a year.

Asking the government to make suitable allocations for SC, ST, BC, Minority and other marginalised sections of the society, he said delivery of social justice for “these majority sections of people in the State alone brings all round development to the State.”

Adding, the party has decided to fight for the same in the days to come, the left leader had also asked the government to carry out another postmortem in case of an alleged suicide of an young dalit in Manthani in Peddapalli district. The party will send a fact finding team to probe into the circumstance leading to the death, he said.
