SHE teams nab 18 eve-teasers
The She teams under Rachakonda police Commissionerate booked 23 cases including 13 petty cases and 10 FIRs against eve-teasers and apprehended 18 eve-teasers, including one minor during the last two weeks.
Hyderabad: The She teams under Rachakonda police Commissionerate booked 23 cases including 13 petty cases and 10 FIRs against eve-teasers and apprehended 18 eve-teasers, including one minor during the last two weeks.
The offenders attended the counselling sessions along with their families conducted by the She teams at Commissioner of Police Camp office at LB Nagar. Amongst these 10 cases were reportedly of serious nature, prompting arrests of the accused.
While 13 eve-teasers were caught with the help of decoy operation by She teams, taking into consideration Whatsapp complaints from different areas of Rachakonda, while they were harassing women at different places like junctions, bus stops, work places and colleges.
