Orders reserved on plea against Supreme Court, Centre

Orders have been reserved on Monday on the maintainability of the petition challenging the inaction of the Supreme Court and the Central government in filling up the vacant posts of Judges, including permanent Chief Justice post in the High Court at Hyderabad.

The division bench comprising of Justice V. Ramasubramanian and Justice J Uma Devi heard the petition filed by senior advocate S Satyam Reddy on Monday.

The bench had earlier insisted that the counsels must first satisfy the court on the maintainability of the petition. Arguments were advanced on Monday in this regard and the bench reserved its orders.
