Hyderabad: The Telangana State Auto Drivers Unions’ JAC on Wednesday decided to observe one-day ‘auto bandh’ on April 8 demanding withdrawal of the enhanced third-party insurance fees.
The JAC leaders, who met under the leadership of B Venkatesham here at the AITUC office on Wednesday, alleged that the government had indiscriminately increased the third-party insurance fee. They demanded the government to withdraw the enhanced fees forthwith. The JAC leaders said auto drivers would take up protest programmes across the state on April 8.
