Hyderabad: A morning walker died on the spot, while five others received injuries when a speeding DCM hit them near IDL tank in Moosapet, Kukatpally on Saturday morning.
According to police, P Jyothi, a housewife and resident of SBH towers in Anjaneyanagar in Moosapet died on the spot, after a speeding DCM lorry coming from Rainbow Vista and going towards IDL road hit the batch of morning walkers.
The other five victims, Rama, Usha, Pushpalatha, Laxmi Jyothi and Kishore Reddy received injuries and were admitted to a nearby hospital. The police registered a case against the driver and took him into custody.
