Police raid illicit liquor dens

The law-enforcing officials of the Julapalli-Sultanabad conducted raids on illicit distilled liquor dens in Sultanabad mandal headquarters on Saturday. The officials seized 15 litres of illicit liquor, four two-wheelers and destroyed the manufacturing centre and materials.

Sulatanabad SI B Jivan explained how ID liquor consumption affects the people. He further said that they would take stringent action against the persons who are responsible for the making of illicit liquor.
The Police arrested four people. The accused were identified as Kota Venkati, Kota Srinivas, Kota Laxmaiah and Kota Rajaiah. Julapalli SI Dameruppala Devendar and other police personnel participated in the raids.
