Work hard to achieve targets, SCR GM goads officials
In a bid to attain targets, the South Central Railway, general manager Vinod Kumar Yadav held a review meeting with all principal heads of departments through a video conference on Saturday and exhorted them to work harder to achieve the targets set for the current fiscal 2017-18.

Pending works related to traffic facilities, level crossings, passenger amenities division-wise and works-wise and instructed all the DRMs to complete all pending works within the stipulated time.
The General Manager made it clear that the officials need to reach out to the rail customers and work hard in the remaining months of the current FY, so as to meet the objectives set.
Priority areas like improvement of goods sheds, development of satellite station at Cherlapalli, west side entry at Tirupati railway station and bypass line at Kazipet would be taken up along with improvement in passenger amenities like foot over bridges, renovation of station buildings, waiting halls, construction of lifts, escalators and works related to divyangs and need to be
completed on priority.
The General Manager spelling out another area of priority, the completion of projects as per the targets set towards which money is no constraint. He also advised all the officials of the zone to plan early so that the targets can be achieved within the targeted time frame.
