Hyderabad: The Met department bulletin forecast light to moderate rain/thundershowers at isolated places in the State on Monday. Dry weather is likely to prevail from April 11 to 13. No large change during the subsequent three days is the weather outlook.

According to the forecast, a trough runs from the Lakshadweep area to the State with embedded upper air cyclonic circulations extending up to 0.9 km above the mean sea level and over the north interior Karnataka at 1.5 km above the mean sea level. The north-south trough from Chhattisgarh to south Tamil Nadu across Telangana extending up to 0.9 km above the mean sea level has become less marked.

The bulletin said the day temperatures were likely to be above normal by two to three degrees Celsius. They are likely to be above 40 degrees Celsius at a few places today and on Monday. Isolated rain occurred in Telangana. On Sunday all cities in the State except Hanamkonda (39) and Hakimpet (38) recorded day temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius and above. They were above normal at many places. Ramagundam recorded the highest maximum temperature of 42 degrees Celsius
