Elaborate arrangements for Hanuman Jayanthi today
A joint team of officials from the city police and the GHMC on Monday inspected the entire route the Hanuman Jayanthi procession is scheduled to be organised on Tuesday.City Police Commissioner, M Mahendar Reddy and GHMC Commissioner, B Janardhan Reddy along with their teams inspected the route and made suggestions for the smooth conduct of the procession.
Hyderabad: A joint team of officials from the city police and the GHMC on Monday inspected the entire route the Hanuman Jayanthi procession is scheduled to be organised on Tuesday.City Police Commissioner, M Mahendar Reddy and GHMC Commissioner, B Janardhan Reddy along with their teams inspected the route and made suggestions for the smooth conduct of the procession.
Mahendar Reddy told media persons that elaborate bandobusth arrangements had been made and traffic would be directed at several places. Apart from the existing CCTV cameras, vehicle mounted CCTV cameras would also be used during the procession, he said.
The city police chief also said that the procession will be monitored from the command control centre in the city police headquarters, where officials from various departments such as GHMC, water works and Transco will be present to ensure timely response in case of emergency.
GHMC commissioner, Janardhan Reddy, said power cables, tree branches and potholes would be cleared for smooth flow of the procession. Both the officials appealed to the people to cooperate with the administration in conducting the procession peacefully.
The Hanuman Jayanthi procession will start at Ram Mandir in Gowliguda and reaches Hanuman Temple in Tadban via Koti, Narayanaguda, RTC Cross Roads, Kavadiguda, Gandhinagar and Secunderabad.
