Teacher booked for corporal punishment
In an apparent case of corporal punishment, a seventh standard student was mercilessly beaten up allegedly for coming to the school late by 15 minutes.This incident took place at Vishwa Bharati School at Rasoolpura area under Begumpet police station limits on Tuesday. According to the police, the boy Aijaz Shareef, went to the school late by 15 minutes in the morning
Hyderabad: In an apparent case of corporal punishment, a seventh standard student was mercilessly beaten up allegedly for coming to the school late by 15 minutes.This incident took place at Vishwa Bharati School at Rasoolpura area under Begumpet police station limits on Tuesday. According to the police, the boy Aijaz Shareef, went to the school late by 15 minutes in the morning.
The school principal, Nirmal Chadda, not only beat up the boy with a stick but also pinched his chest causing bruises. The boy informed the same to his parents who took him to the police station. The boy was taken to Gandhi Hospital for treatment. Based on the complaint lodged by the boy’s parents, the police registered a case. The principal is reportedly absconding.
