Telangana government, on Tuesday, issued a Budget Release order to the tune of Rs 4,000 crore for crop loan waiver scheme. The amount was released under scheme expenditure to the Agriculture HoD of Budget Estimates 2017-18. Of Rs 4,000 Crore, an amount of Rs 2,957 crore was released as Grants-in-Aid under Scheme for Debt Relief to Farmers.

Of remaining amount, Rs 656.62 Crore and Rs 385.90 Crore were adjusted under Special Component Plan for Scheduled Castes and Tribal Area Sub-Plan respectively.
