Ambedkar Jayanthi: TRS Govt to distribute 4000 acres land to poor dalit people

On the occasion of Dalit icon Dr. Ambedkar's 126th Jayanthi today, Telangana government has decided to distribute lands to poor Dalit people.

The state government will be distributing 4000 Acres of land as a mark of tribute to Dr Ambedkar.

While the initial plan was to to distribute 10,000 acres of land to poor Dalit families, due to delay in buying and selling of lands, the TRS government had to postpone the idea settling for distribution of 4000 acres of land on the eve of Ambedkar Jayanthi.

The remaining acres of land will be distributed on June 2nd - Telangana Formation Day.
