Hyderabad: Minority Journalist Front (MJF) President Yusuf Baba on Thursday said the MJF committee was formed for the welfare of journalists belonging to Minorities in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Speaking to the press persons here at Somajiguda Press Club, the MJF President said the representatives of the MJF are going to meet both the Chief Ministers of Telangana and AP after forming full fledge committees in both the States. In the meet the committees will bring to their notice the problems faced by Minority journalists.

“Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is implementing various schemes for the welfare of the Minorities in the State. Awareness will be created among minorities on behalf of MJF on various welfare schemes implemented by TRS government in the State,” he said.

The MJF committee was formed with journalists belonging to Muslims, Christians, Jain and Buddhists. Yusuf Baba as President, S J Thomas, Gurmeet Singh, Rakesh Jain as Vice Presidents and Sharif Mohammad as General Secretary along with others as committee members.
