Identified as 17-year-old Manish Kumar Goud, the deceased took the extreme step after getting know that he failed in the Intermediate Public Examination, the results of which were declared on Sunday.

The Government Railway Police in Nampally informed that Manish's body was found at 11 AM on Monday on the railway track of Sanatnagar station near Subhash Nagar.

While there was no suicide note found, the police after alerting the family members suspect that the exam failure was the only reason behind Manish taking the extreme step.

A case under section 174 (suspicious death) of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) has been registered by the police.
