Telangana Chief Minsiter K Chandrasekhar Rao addressed the issue of Muslim reservation bill in a press meet on Monday wherein he stated that Muslims are a part of our country forming 1/5th of India's population.

Citing that it's congestion if the reservation is not granted in the name of religion, KCR said that the bill has been put forth in front of the government and the Centre has to decide whether to pass it or not.

Responding to Congress leader Jeevan Reddy's remarks on the Bill, the Chief Minister said that they are not going to beg for the Muslim reservation, instead will fight Centre for it.

KCR said that the Bill is the right of the states and it's composition of the people while assuring that they would take up the issue in Delhi and even Lok Sabha. He, however, asserted that the Muslim Reservation Bill won't affect the BCs.
