TS to seek funds for national highways
State government has prepared proposals for Rs 4,470 crore for developing various roads under National Highways Development projects in the state for 2017-18 financial year. The government will seek the Centre for the release of the funds for taking up several works pertaining to roads, two ways, bridges, bypasses and others for which detailed projects are prepared.

This was informed by Roads and Buildings Minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao here while reviewing the projects of highways with Principal Secretary Sunil Sharma and Engineer-in-Chief Ganapathi Reddy here.
The State government has prepared DPRs for several projects comprising bits of works at various districts and localities and will seek funds and permissions from the Centre.
