Hyderabad: A K Khan, Government advisor, on Wednesday advised the students aspiring for medicine and engineering to work hard for a free seat.

Addressing the students, after releasing Study material for NEET and EAMCET free coaching programmes for minority students at Nizam College, Khan asked them not to purchase a seat by paying exorbitant amount of Rs 60-65 lakh for MBBS.

If you earn a free seat then your career would also be excellent, he advised the students and added that the State government was trying to provide all facilities for best coaching.

The candidates should pay attention on smart studies and not on hard studies and should not depend on reservation but eye an open category, he said.

Minorities Welfare Department Secretary Syed Omer Jaleel asked the students to concentrate on their studies and avoid entertainment and parties till their examinations are over.

He said the CEDM had been providing free coaching to the minorities and the results for the past 10 years show that 65-90 per cent students got good results. He said this year the Centre hopes to achieve 100 per cent results.
