Anomalies in police recruitment test result
As many as 28 of the 153 candidates, who challenged their non-selection for the post of police constable in the recently announced results, were found eligible for the provisional selection of athe post.
40 found eligible during the review of challenge option availed by 153 candidates
Hyderabad: As many as 28 of the 153 candidates, who challenged their non-selection for the post of police constable in the recently announced results, were found eligible for the provisional selection of athe post.
Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) chairman J Purnachandra Rao, in a release, on Friday said 153 candidates who were not selected for the post of police constable availed the challenge option.
Of them, 28 were found eligible during review. He added the communication has been sent to them and the fresh result is available on the recruitment board website.
In the process of verification, 12 candidates who did not avail challenge option were also found eligible to be selected. Their names are also included in the provisional selection list, he said.
Further, the selection of nine candidates had been modified from one battalion to another according to the marks secured by them and the cut off marks.
He requested the 40 selected candidates and the nine candidates whose selection had been modified to download the memorandums by furnishing their credentials from Saturday and report on May 2 before the chief superintendent, where they attended the physical examination test along with their original certificates.
He also said the representations of 115 candidates had been considered and rejected since they did not score the required cut off marks. All the above candidates will get the access details through SMS on their registered mobile numbers for downloading the memorandums, he said.
