Two held for trying to sell antique coin
The Special Operations Team (SOT) of Rachakonda police arrested two persons for attempting to sell an antique coin on the pretext of it having mystical powers.The arrested persons have been identified as Sanjay Pathak of Secunderabad and K Ajay Kumar of Alwal.
Hyderabad: The Special Operations Team (SOT) of Rachakonda police arrested two persons for attempting to sell an antique coin on the pretext of it having mystical powers.The arrested persons have been identified as Sanjay Pathak of Secunderabad and K Ajay Kumar of Alwal. Police seized the antique coin and three mobile phones from the accused. According to the police, Ajay came to know that Sanjay was in possession of an antique coin which dates back to more than 100 years.
Immediately, he researched about antique coins on the internet and realised that it could be sold for huge amounts by luring the prospective buyers with mystical powers ideology. Ajay then explained his plan of selling the coin with mystical powers ideology to Sanjay.
