Nigerian held; cocaine worth Rupees 1 crore seized
Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Hyderabad, arrested a Nigerian national and seized 200 grams of cocaine (worth Rs 1 crore in international market) from his possession.Based on an intelligence input, NCB Hyderabad Sub-Zone intercepted the Nigerian national named Lary Onyekachi, 35, while he was travelling in Bengaluru-bound Rajdhani Express at Secunderabad Railway Station. Hyderabad: Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Hyderabad, arrested a Nigerian national and seized 200 grams of cocaine (worth Rs 1 crore in international market) from his possession.Based on an intelligence input, NCB Hyderabad Sub-Zone intercepted the Nigerian national named Lary Onyekachi, 35, while he was travelling in Bengaluru-bound Rajdhani Express at Secunderabad Railway Station. He was arrested under NDPS Act on Friday and sent to Judicial custody.
A resident of Chander Vihar, New Delhi, he had collected the drug at Delhi and was supposed to handover the contraband to a Nigerian friend in Bengaluru. The authorities, during interrogation, found that he was travelling with a forged copy of passport and continued to stay in Delhi, while his tourist visa expired in 2012.
