They said what happened in the Assembly on Sunday was a foul stain on the face of India’s democracy. The TDP leaders also pointed out that the government did not invite TDP legislators to the BAC meeting conducted on Saturday. They wondered why the government did not lift the suspension on TDP MLAs. The leaders also took strong exception to the government for not allowing a discussion on the plight of agitating chilli farmers who failed to get remunerative prices this season.
