Digvijay comments on TS cops deplorable: TRS MLA
The TRS leaders have strongly condemned the comments against Telangana police by senior congress leader Digvijay Singh.The comments ‘Telangana police has set up a bogus ISIS site, which is radicalising Muslim youths and encouraging them to become ISIS modules’ posted by Congress leader on a social media platform shows his deranged mental status, said Warangal (West) MLA D Vinay Bhasker.
Hanamkonda: The TRS leaders have strongly condemned the comments against Telangana police by senior congress leader Digvijay Singh.The comments ‘Telangana police has set up a bogus ISIS site, which is radicalising Muslim youths and encouraging them to become ISIS modules’ posted by Congress leader on a social media platform shows his deranged mental status, said Warangal (West) MLA D Vinay Bhasker.
Speaking to presspersons here on Monday, he demanded the Congress leader immediate withdrawal of the comments and tender unconditional apology to Telangana police. Being a senior politician it was unbecoming of Digvijay Singh to make such comments without any evidence, he stated.
The MLA stated that the across the nation Telangana police has been receiving accolades for its efficiency. Now a person, who held chief minister position, was making such ‘mindless’ and irresponsible comments could damage the morale of the police, he worried. As a mark of protest, large number of TRS workers led by the MLA took out a rally in the streets of the city, raising slogans against Digvijay Singh and burnt his effigy at University Chowrastha.
