SIT to take action against cops for links to Nayeem

Hyderabad: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the case of late gangster Nayeemuddin is all set to initiate action against the police officials who allegedly had connections with the gangster.Sources said the SIT had identified 12 police officials who had alleged nexus with Nayeem. The officials are accused of amassing huge wealth by making use of his illegal activities and also helped him run a criminal empire in return. The SIT move is seen as a response to the mounting allegations against the police department for going slow in the investigations particularly against the police officials and politicians who had alleged nexus with the gangster.
