8,792 teacher posts to be filled: TSPSC
The stage is set for filling 8,792 vacancies in government schools in next six months through Telangana State Public Service Commission. Notification would be issued in next 15 days.
Hyderabad: The stage is set for filling 8,792 vacancies in government schools in next six months through Telangana State Public Service Commission. Notification would be issued in next 15 days.
Stating this here on Wednesday, Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Education K Srihari said that till the process of recruitment was completed, government would appoint Vidya Volunteers so that the academic activity continues uninterrupted from the beginning of the academic year.
Srihari said that Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) would not be conducted as already three lakh qualified candidates were available. The recruitment would be done by taking undivided 10 districts into consideration.
He said that wherever there is demand government would start English medium in government schools. Teachers who come forward to teach in English medium would be trained. He made it clear that the focus would be to improve the standards in education.
He said that biometric attendance system would be introduced in 6000 schools both residential and day scholar. Government schools will also have digital classrooms and all basic amenities.
