Orders issued to recruit 13,357 in Energy Dept: KCR
Taking cue from Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s announcement regarding the massive recruit of personnel in the energy department, the State government on Saturday issued orders for creation of 13,357 posts in TSTRNSCO, TSGENCO, TSSPDCL and TSNPDCL.

Hyderabad: Taking cue from Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s announcement regarding the massive recruit of personnel in the energy department, the State government on Saturday issued orders for creation of 13,357 posts in TSTRNSCO, TSGENCO, TSSPDCL and TSNPDCL.
The highest number of posts 4,329 would be filled in TSGENCO alone to meet the requirement of manpower in four new thermal projects taken up in Bhadradri -Kothagudem and Nalgonda districts. Of the total posts, as many as 1,461 posts would be filled in engineering services, 2541 in Operational and Maintenance ( O&M) and the remaining posts in Chemical, Human Resources (HR) and Accounts services.
The government has created 3,441 posts in TSTRANSCO. They include 1,979 posts are in engineering services, 1,005 in O&M and 262 in accounts. In TSSPDCL, the total number of posts created is 2,336. Among them 554 posts would be filled in engineering services and 430 in account services.
The total number of posts that have been created in TSNPDCL (Northern Power Distribution Company Limited) are 3,251. In Operations and Maintenance section alone, as many as 2,623 posts would be filled and 267 in engineering series and 367 will be filled in accounts section.
