Congress cries foul over closure of govt schools
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) official spokesperson Konagala Mahesh condemned the State government’s decision of closing down 4,637 government schools in the name of rationalisation. He demanded that the government withdraw its decision of closing down government schools.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Wednesday, the TPCC spokesperson alleged that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government was hatching a conspiracy to use the government schools land for the construction of double bed room houses scheme. Konagala said the TRS government did not reform even after getting shocks. He alleged that the Chief Minister was closing the government schools for the sake of commissions given by the corporate schools. Terming the closure of government schools as loss of employment for youth, he said the unemployed youth were waiting for the DSC notification and expecting jobs.
