State Housing Minister A Indrakaran Reddy on Saturday requested his cabinet colleagues and legislators of all political parties to take initiative in the implementation of the ‘delayed’ double bed room ( 2BHK) housing programme . Hyderabad: State Housing Minister A Indrakaran Reddy on Saturday requested his cabinet colleagues and legislators of all political parties to take initiative in the implementation of the ‘delayed’ double bed room ( 2BHK) housing programme .Reddy wrote letters to all ministers and MLAs and explained the government’s efforts in constructing the affordable houses for poor amid poor response from the private contractors. The government has sanctioned 1,400 units to each assembly constituency this year. Guidelines were also framed to identify the beneficiaries.He urged the people's representatives to help the district Collectors, the sole authority of the implementation of the scheme, in identifying the suitable place to take up the construction of the houses at a fast pace.
