Khammam: Reiterating that the TRS government was committed to providing 24X7 power supply to farmers in the coming days, Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy said that the state was treading speedily on the path of development under the able leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.Reddy along with Roads and Buildings Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao laid foundation stones for new sub-stations here at Tekulapalli and Sattupalli villages of Penuballi mandal in Khammam
on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, Jagadish Reddy alleged that some of the leaders who were unable to digest the development of state under TRS rule were forming gangs and instigating people against the government. “They are behaving like agents of other states and trying to create hurdles in the path of state’s development,” he added.

Stating that the TRS government was formed for the people and by the people, Minister Tummala said the Chief Minister has allotted Rs 1,000 crore for the uplift of downtrodden in the state. He further informed that the President of India had given nod for the construction of Sitarama Project. “The government is going to deposit Rs 4,000 per one acre of land in the bank account of every farmer before the Kharif season begins,” informed the R&B Minister.

Later, the Ministers distributed auto-rickshaws and tractors to the beneficiaries of SC Corporation. Zilla Parishad Chairperson Gadepalli Kavitha, MLC Balasani Lakshminarayana, DCCB Chairman Muvva Vijay Babu, SC Corporation Chairman Pidamarthi Ravi, ATMA Chairman Katta Ajay Babu, Director of NDPCL Buggaveeti Venkateshwar Rao and Nalgonda DCCB Chairman Pandu Ranga Rao were also present along with others.
