Telangana Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao on Tuesday laid the foundation stone for the construction of double bedroom houses at Sanath Nagar in Hyderabad.
He performed the Bhoomi Puja and laid the foundation stone for 458 double bedroom houses at Banda Maisamma Nagar and 400 double bedroom houses at Ambedkar Nagar.
The houses are to be constructed with a cost of Rs 34 crore. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has only taken up the double bedroom scheme for the welfare of the poor and that they get to live with dignity.
